Al traveled recently to Los Angeles to participate in a conference on Wallace Stevens. There he met Charles Altieri, eminent critic of modern U.S. poetry. They talked for 7 minutes about Wallace Stevens’s poem “The Plot against the Giant” and the conversation was recorded as a video. Here is that recording:
